This piece reinterprets photos of the artists’ son’s artwork
made during lockdown. The painted gel medium creates a
floppy translucent layer of paint as new a revised backdrop
for this early pandemic memory.

Pali Kashi is founder of artist-run space Safe Gallery in
Brooklyn.  She is currently an independent curator while also
revisiting her painting practice.
