Folded Space is a sculpture from a series of works called
Maps to Higher Planes which explore non-linear ways of
mapping dimensional surfaces, travelling across long
distances by folding space, and seeking routes to navigate
the rippling and warping of time.
Richard Porter is a sculptor whose studio has migrated from
Brooklyn to Mt Tremper, NY. His work has spanned
performance, audio installation, and most recently, wooden
constructions with painted surfaces.
